Marquees can be used for many different purposes. Our customers here at Marquee World hire marquees for a vast range of reasons and events.  Our marquees come in all different sizes to fit all occasions and we have lots of extras and accessories to transform the marquee into your perfect event.

Lighting

We have a range of lighting to suit different needs and events.

• Festoon lighting is our most popular lighting and is usually included in our standard package. Festoon lights are garland lights that hang from fences, trees, marquees and are oversized glass orbs with warm white bulbs.
• Fairy lights tend to make the marquee much more magical. They are small electric lights used for decoration, originally used during the festive period but they are now used throughout the year for many different events.
• Chandeliers tend to be used for more formal events such as Charity Balls or Black Tie events. These branched ornamental light fixtures are designed to be mounted on the ceiling and can transform the marquees into beautiful ball rooms.

Heating

Heating may be needed during the winter months. If you want a marquee for a Christmas party or a long hire period that runs through the winter months then heating may be needed. We have different types of heaters and depending on the size of your marquee we can recommend the best one for your marquee and event type.

Lining

Lining is the perfect way to give your marquee that finishing touch to any event. Lining can help transform your event into any theme you can dream of.

• Our standard lining is used to create the drape effect inside the marquee. This can transform your marquee to look high-class in a matter of minutes.
• Our premium lining covers the whole marquee; all the poles, sides and ceiling are covered to give that full elegant and high-quality feel.
• We have lots of different colour combinations so we can fulfil any idea or theme that you can think of. We can mix 2 or 3 different colour linings to really transform your marquee into the perfect theme or we can keep the lining all one colour, totally your choice.

Flooring

Flooring can be useful for many different reasons, it of course makes your marquee feel more high-quality, giving it the feel of an actual room. It can also help combat the cold and wet floor during the winter months.

• Our standard Rola Trac flooring is usually included in our standard marquee package. This click together system of panels can be fitted on any surface and to any shape, creating a firm, non-slip surface.
• We also have raised wooden flooring which is generally used for larger marquees but creates the same look and effect for your event.
• We have carpet that can cover either of our flooring types. The standard colour is anthracite; however other colours are available on demand if needed for a specific event.

Accessories

We have extras that we can put in your marquee to finish off the look and help with the practical floorplan for your event.

• Furniture hire can be anything from Chiavari chairs, sofas, bars, poser tables, tables and table cloths. These can be placed anywhere in your marquee to create the floorplan you envisioned.
• Dancefloors are also very popular for party style events. We can offer either checked or light up dancefloors for whatever style you think fits best with your event.
• Light up letters and numbers make a great backdrop for any party. If it’s a birthday party, the age numbers are always a hit!
• Staging can be needed for events such as award ceremonies or parties with a band. We can provide small or large stages, whatever suits the size of your marquee.
• We have lots of finishing touches that we can decorate your marquee with. Themed decorations, bunting, Christmas decorations and many more to fulfil your vision.

Lastly we also have a number of in house recommendations to finalise both the decoration and practicality of your event. We have a number of DJs and catering companies on our books to suit your theme and event perfectly.
